ENGLISH
"THE FOREST"
From the woods of Nesodden (an half-island close to Oslo) a brand new song walks out into the world - a result of cooperation between Anne Lande & Andreu Jacob
Anne Lande says:
- A brand new little story will soon travel out into the world here from the Nesodden woods.
It has been so nice to make "The Forest" in collaboration with the musical multi-talented artist Andreu Jacob.
He is a great Spanish talent who has ended up here with us in the Nesodden landscape. This collaboration is a meeting between my nordic low-key universe and Andreu Jacob's rich, magical-cinematic world - and new landscapes open up.
Our collaborative language is English - and I was challenged as a lyricist when I was asked to write in English. I normally only write in my mother tongue, but it feels good to also be able to open up to more ways of communicating in a diverse world.
I am so happy and proud of our "Forest" and hope it can find its way forward and into the lives of those who can enjoy it

Anne Lande has written the text and made the melody line of the voices, and it is her voice that sings in «The forest».
Andreu Jacob has made all the other music and orchestrated it all, and he actually plays all the instruments - as well as having mixed, mastered and is responsible for all recording - with the exception of the vocal recordings that come from Anne Lande's home studio
From 20 December 2023, "The Forest" can be foud on the streaming sites.
THE FOREST
(text Anne Lande/music Anne Lande & Andreu Jacob)
wandering in twilight zone
in the forest on my own
suddenly a tone so pure
brings me melancolic cure
feel your tender touch and see
you are here - but cannot be
hear you humming - soft your tune
near and clear - this afternoon
lines of pictures from the past
we both knew it could not last
joy and spring and light we shared
both of us were unprepered
*
sad sad songs will repear
dark blue sky is always near
now and then in lonely walk
you are here and we can talk
*
grief can be a little star
leads you back to who you are
